01Acceptance of these terms

By joining the YapNav waitlist or using the YapNav app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time and will note the effective date above.

02Drive responsibly

YapNav is a navigation aid, not a substitute for safe and attentive driving. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws, road signs, and conditions at all times. Do not interact with the app in a way that distracts you while driving. Routes and arrival estimates are provided for convenience and may not always reflect real-world conditions.

03Your account

You need an account to use subscription features and Clone-A-Voice. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

04Subscriptions, trials, and billing

YapNav offers Starter and Premium subscriptions on monthly or annual terms, and a one-time Clone-A-Voice add-on. Eligible plans begin with a 30-day free trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends, and you may cancel any time before then at no cost.

Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you manage or cancel them through your app-store account. Prices shown on this site are in USD and may vary by region at the point of sale.

05Personas and intellectual property

All YapNav personas are original characters created by Type Visions; they are not based on, and are not intended to evoke, any specific real or identifiable person. The YapNav name, app, personas, artwork, and content are owned by Type Visions and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the app and its content for their intended purpose.

06Clone-A-Voice

Clone-A-Voice may only be used to clone your own voice or the voice of a person who has provided verified, recorded consent through our consent flow. You represent that you have the right to request any clone you create. Cloned voices are private to your account, must not be used to impersonate or deceive, and may be revoked by the consenting subject at any time. We may suspend or remove a clone that violates these terms.

07Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse YapNav, including by attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, infringe others’ rights, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these terms or harms other users or the service.

08Disclaimers and limitation of liability

YapNav is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
